Nothing to be proud of money

There is nothing to be proud of money.
If you say you are rich, there are richer and richer men than you,in comparison with whom you are a mere beggar.

After dusk when the glow-worms make their appearance, they think, 'We are giving light to the world'. But when the stars begin to twinkle, the pride of the glow worms is humbled. Now the stars begin to think. 'We are illumining the universe'.

But after a while the moon ascends the sky, and her silvery light humiliates the stars and they pale away in sadness. Again the moon grows proud and thinks that by her light the world is lighted and bathed in the beauty.

Soon the dawn proclaims the ascent of the sun on the eastern horizon. And where is the moon now?????

If they who think themselves rich reflect over these facts of Nature, they would never boast of their riches and power..!!!!!

Every thought has an influence

Every Thought you think has an influence upon your life, Great or Small.

All the thoughts you think are of two classes: Constructive thoughts with which you build our powers toward useful ends, or Destructive thoughts which deplete your resources.

You can deliberately choose the kind of thought you intend should govern your daily life. You can close the door of your mind against every undesirable , negative,useless thought.

Duty is the force that guides man through every difficulty and misfortune in the course of life's journey. Without sense of duty man's life is insignificant None can say that he does not have any duty to perform in day to day life.

Man had duties towards his family, toward the society in which he lives and moves and last thought not least towards the nation. Today when people become international-minded, they have their sense of duty towards the whole world. If a man does not realize his duty he loses his individuality of character.

Lives of great men provide us with many illustrations showing how , at the call of duty, they sacrificed their lives. Casablanca stuck to his post of duty when he was burning. Florence Nightingale renounced love and pleasure at the call of duty. King Arthur found the true ideal for humanity in the daily routine of duty.

Performance of one's duty radiates a glow in the quiet face reflecting inner peace and harmony. Duty makes a man realize his creator and he becomes an elevated being spiritually and morally.

Two Kinds of People

There are two kinds of people :

Those who do not do what they want to do, so they write down in a diary about what they have not done, and those who have no time to write about it because they are out doing it.
